I am a Therapist offering Counselling, Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to individuals from the age of 18 onwards, face-to-face as well as online. I work collaboratively with Clients in a reflective and non-judgemental way, using a Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) and Person-Centered approach, combined with other theoretical approaches and personality theories depending on the issues you bring to therapy.
I am very dedicated and passionate about therapy and have worked for over 15 years with a great variety of clients presenting with a diverse range of issues, such as, Depression, Sadness, Feeling Empty, Anxiety/loneliness, OCD, Relationship issues, Stress, Self-esteem, childhood neglect and many more.
I have an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology from the University of East London (UEL) in Person-Centred and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT). In addition, I continue to gain experience by reading, researching, taking further study and attending workshops, especially in the area of Cognitive Behavioural theory. I am a Graduate member of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS) BPS, and am on the Accredited Register of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) BACP, whose strict code of ethics I adhere to. I have an Enhanced Criminal Record Certificate (DBS) and am recognised to work with insurance providers. In accordance with the BACP's code of ethics, I am insured and attend regular supervision, which helps to maintain a healthy perspective on client work. I also take great care in making sure clients are treated equally and uniquely irrespective of background, culture, age, gender, disability, or sexual orientation.
